CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION
A.    Syllabus and Lesson Plan
Teacher provides a syllabus and lesson plan. Lesson plan was make based on syllabus. Basic Competence speaking skill which was taught to the students. The material is “Telling Time” There are 3 Indicators.
In this study the teacher applied “Telling Time” material, in this lesson teacher try to make students recognize about the material according to indicators. Start from giving introduction about telling time and the function for learning about telling time so that students easier to learn the material and can move to another indicators. The second indicator is students know the material about telling time. In this indicators students able to differentiate the form time of American and British. And the last indicator is student able to understand and can use the time in their daily live.
In teaching, we do some procedure as follows:
1.    Introduction (± 5 minutes)
1)        Greeting
2)        Asking about the students’ condition.
3)        Introducing the material.
4)      Asking the students about the material found out the prior knowledge.
-Have you ever learn about telling time?
-Have you ever heard about telling time?

2.    Main Activity 40 minutes)
1)        The teacher gave introduction about telling time
2)        The teacher explain about telling time
3)        The students write down their schedule of daily activity individually in Indonesian
4)        The teacher devided students in some group
5)        The teacher ask the students to make a work group of telling time (schedule) and each group give their schedule to other group to translate into English
6)        The students and the teacher analyze together the task.
7)        The teacher ask the student to make a cricle like clock and act ask a clock
8)        The teacher explain the rule and start to play the game by give instruction.

3.    Closing Activity15 minutes)
1)        The teacher asked the students the advantage after learning about telling time
2)        The teacher give repeat explanation to refresh knowledge about telling time
3)        The teacher ask student to always improve their knowledge about telling time.












CHAPTER III
CLOSING
A.      Conclusion
     The material of telling time explain students to differentiate the form of American and British time. Student have to understand the material to improve their speaking skill. Telling time is the material tell about how to read the numeral in watch (time), how to use time in their daily activity, especially to make their daily activity schedule. If student able to analyze the form of American and British time, it can progress their knowledge to improve their speaking skill (in their daily life). This material teach student become more active in learning, from the material side it’s so interesting plus the explanation about this material combining with the game, make this material become more fun.
